Following an audit by the certification company DMSZ, BauMineral's quality management system was certified for the first time. At the same time, the environmental management system and the occupational health and safety management system (QHSE) were successfully recertified.
Already during the last recertification at BauMineral in 2019, the HSE management manual and the company organization manual were merged into an integrated management system (IMS). The QHSE representatives Bogdan Borjanic and Matthias Joswig promoted the transfer of knowledge across departments and intensified their own knowledge by participating in a DGQ training course.
The existing IMS was adapted to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 to enable certification according to measurable quality objectives. This certification has now taken place for the first time in December 2022 and certifies BauMineral highest professionalism and effectiveness. In addition, the environmental management system and the occupational safety and health management system (QHSE) were re-certified.
In his report, the auditor highlighted the high level of competence and experience of BauMineral's employees with regard to the requirements of integrated management systems and their ability to clearly control processes.
